Joann is currently a senior at Huron High School. She enjoys studying the sciences in combination with history and public policy. She's interned with several campaigns within Washtenaw County and hopes to raise political awareness in more youth. Aside from that, Joann is also the President of Ann Hua Rainbow Project, which raises money for students in poverty-stricken in China and President of Huron's National Honor Society chapter.
When she's not in class or volunteering, Joann absolutely loves to travel. Whether it be camping in Norway, exploring museums Berlin city, or climbing Huangshan mountain, she's constantly on the move. You'll easily spot her taking loads of photos or with a book in hand.
