Frequently Asked Questions
What is the late pick-up policy at camp?
Parents have a half-hour period to pick up their students from camp, from 3:30-4:00 PM. Parents picking up children after 4:00 pm will be charged a late fee of $1.00 per minute, per child, with no cap. Late pick-up fees will be billed to the child’s account balance. Please plan accordingly and pick up your children on time! What if I can't pick my child up on time? Since all of our camp counselors are unpaid student volunteers and we want to respect their time and other commitments, our late pick-up policy is hard-set. Parents picking up children after 4:00 pm will be charged according to the plan described above. However, we understand each family's circumstance is unique, so if there is absolutely no way that you can pick up your child(ren) by 4:00, please contact us, and we will work out a plan together. How about early drop-off? Camp drop-off begins at 8:00 am, but usually, camp counselors will be at Concordia early to help set things up for the day. While you may drop off your child(ren) before 8:00, we cannot guarantee that there will be a counselor there to watch over your child until drop-off officially starts. What is your staff to camper ratio? For every camper, there is at least one counselor. This ratio of campers to staff members ensures that every camper will receive the optimal amount of attention. This ratio allows students to work freely in groups along with the guidance and assistance from some of our stellar teachers! How does your camp's activity schedule work? Your student's schedule is based on the classes you select when registering on the online registration portal. More information can be found by clicking the schedule tab under "Program." What is the Induction Day? On Induction Day, we introduce staff members and give parents and students a glimpse of what camp will be like. During this time we will give a camp briefing and a short tour of the campus. Both you and your student will not have to worry about first day jitters, because all of your questions and concerns will be addressed on the induction half day. What is your refund policy? Because we need to buy materials and make sure our counselors are prepared to teach all of the students, if your child is unable to attend a portion of camp after having registered, we will provide you with a 50% refund for the days that your camper will miss. |
I want to sign two (or more) of my children up for camp. Is there a discount for families with multiple campers?
Yes, there is! For every additional camper signed up, families will receive a $100 discount on tuition. If you plan on sending more than one child to camp, please contact us, and we will send you more information regarding discounted tuition. Please note that this discount does not apply for families requesting financial aid - the point of financial aid is to provide families with tuition they can comfortably afford. My child is/has been an Inno team member and their sibling would like to sign up for camp. Is there a sibling discount? There is indeed a sibling discount. To thank our team members for their hard work and dedication, siblings of Inno team members, past and present, are eligible to receive a discount of $100 on tuition. Please contact us with the name of your Inno team member, and we will give you more information about discounted tuition. Note that this discount does not apply for families requesting financial aid - the point of financial aid is to provide families with tuition they can comfortably afford. What supplies will my child need? Your child will need only to bring a pencil, a nut-free lunch, a filled water bottle, and their excitement for learning! All other materials will be provided by Inno. Do students bring their own lunches? Yes. Inno is not responsible for providing students with food during their time on campus. Lunches must be nut-free to ensure the safety of all students. How does Inno handle food allergies and other sensitivities? All campers pack their own nut-free lunch as to prevent any food contamination. Your child's safety is one of our greatest concerns, so security staff will always be available on call. What makes your camp different from summer school? We can guarantee that you won't find any of our courses in a summer school! Our curriculum is tailored for students who are passionate about learning and looking to expand their knowledge beyond what is taught in the traditional classroom. All of our courses are created by students and for students, and campers can develop a much more personal connection with their teachers. With a uniquely engaging and hands-on experience, Inno is sure to be the highlight of your child's summer. |
