\Catherine is a current senior at Huron High School with interests in math, engineering, and music. A rower on Huron’s Varsity Girls team, she’s often seen at Bandemer Park running away from geese and practicing with her teammates. Additionally, music is a huge part of her life and she can be found blasting her trumpet in several different ensembles around the area or discovering her next favorite country song.
Catherine spends her free time coming up with food creations in the kitchen and exploring the outdoors through camping and skiing. You might even find her at the local Home Depot with her dad, buying supplies to make home improvements! On a mission to figure out how the world works, Catherine plans on pursuing mechanical engineering in college because of how hands-on and tangible the field is! Although she doesn’t know what her future holds, Catherine does know that she wants to leave a positive impact both in her local community and on a global scale.
