Alexander Kaipainen

Alex is currently completing his undergraduate studies in Computer Science at the University of Michigan. He was first introduced to programming in sixth grade through an online course in Python. His computer science interests led him to pursue further studies into machine learning, deep learning, and artificial intelligence.
Alex has been swimming and playing water polo most of his life, and continues his athletic career by playing water polo for UM. In his free time, Alex enjoys identifying star constellations, reading research papers, taking long walks on short beaches, and spending time in the sauna.
