Course Description

Computers are the future. From ChatGPT to facial recognition to 5G, technology advances before our eyes in both powerful and revolutionary ways. Our course, the Digital Frontier, will introduce the vast world of computer language that surrounds us in the devices we use, video games we play, and appliances we operate. We will dive into the foundations of computer science, starting with the basics of code to eventually creating a personalized digital project. Beyond the hard skills, we will look at the soft impacts of coding relating to ethics and equity. So, join us as we take a step into the Frontier of coding! ​
