Lights, Camera, Action!
Course Description
Action! Ever wondered what goes into producing your favorite marvel, star wars, or hollywood films? Could you be the next Brad Pitt? In this course students will learn everything there is to know about cinema and what goes into creating movies. Students will witness how their favorite stories and characters come to life on screen; We’ll dive into the extravagant world of behind the scenes, from utilizing background music to creating different auras and moods, to experimenting with camera angles to get the perfect shot. In the first week we will cover the basics of cinematography, special effects, and writing material. In the second week we will apply this knowledge creating props, analyzing movies, and shooting skits. So put on your costumes, rehearse your lines, and let's get rolling!
