2022 INNO SUMMER INSTITUTE

Survival of the Fittest

Course Description

Have you ever wondered about how the environment really works? How does the balance of power function within ecosystems? In this course, students will learn about the various interactions that occur between an organism and its ecosystem. This course will focus on key topics such as the big picture interactions of food webs and trophic levels within ecosystems alongside small-scale interspecific interactions. Through in-depth class discussions alongside opportunities such as exploring how to find the best ecosystem for a small organism and replicate it in real life, students will gain an enriching look into the biological and ecological sciences.
