Who Wants to Be a Pop Star?
Course Description
Have you ever wondered about what being a pop star is like? Do you know what makes a song a hit or a flop? Do you think you have what it takes to survive in the pop industry? In this course, campers will learn about the music industry, taking a peek at what happens behind the scenes of music videos and marketing. We’ll discover the business, production, and management side of the pop artist world, exploring real-life examples of artists, both chart-toppers and forgotten. Campers will participate in activities like performing in a class-wide Inno’s Got Talent competition, recovering from a public scandal, and creating their own music video. Who wants to be a pop star? If the answer is you, this is the course for you.
