Course Description
This course teaches math concepts in a fun, intuitive way. We will explore concepts (only the fun ones) in probability, number theory, algebra, geometry, and more! Also, we will see how math is used in the real world, answering the question that haunts all math classes, “When will we actually use this?” The answer is, everything from sports betting to your floor tiles! At the end of the course, students will compete in a fun team competition (with prizes!), and will have valuable math and problem solving skills that will help them solve hard problems, and be able to recognize the beauty of math in their everyday lives!
