Drew DeLong is an educator, entrepreneur, and Michigan Ross MBA with high distinction. He’s taught students for over a decade in the Ann Arbor area, both in public schools and in private settings, focusing on English writing instruction and test prep. While he continues to teach a few classes every week, he spends most of his time as a strategy, marketing, and data analytics consultant with River Strategies. In addition, he has owned and operated a bakery, worked on board game design, and kept honey bees.
As an educator, Drew teaches a growth mindset, with the goal to help each student become just a little smarter every day. He aims to teach students to focus not on proving themselves, but instead on improving themselves, so that they’re more willing to take risks even if they’re not sure they’ll succeed. He’s excited to be a part of INNO, where he can use his education and business background to help guide the next generation of leaders.
